This shootout is filling up. The 50-59 age bracket is FULL! However, we do have a waitlist. Get on the waitlist if you want to play because sometimes we open extra spots OR sometimes people have to cancel.

Congratulations go out to Renee, the most recent recipient of the R.O.S.E. Award at our Eastside location.
Renee’s Y-story is a true inspiration to all. Renee has been a member of the Eastside Family YMCA for at least 20 years. Caring for 2 biological, 3 adopted, and around 10-12 foster children, Renee would use the Y as a way to take the time to keep herself healthy (and sane)!
As a water fitness class participant, she showed great potential to become an instructor! With some gentle persuasion, Renee agreed to shadow the instructor and learned more about the components of a water fitness class. After a very short period of time, Renee took on the challenge to lead a class on her own as a volunteer. Realizing her leadership potential, she was quickly asked to join the aquatics staff as a part-time team member.
Her passion and enthusiasm are an inspiration. Renee has considerably grown the size of our water fitness program here at our Eastside location! Her classes are highly sought after.
Renee, is always finding a way to make a positive impact in the community around us! She is the definition of a true Y leader!
