We are appreciative to
ALL of the players, helpers, and fans who came out today to support our Senior Shootout! The energy level was high and the games were SO close. We are thankful to
Westwood Racquet Club for letting us take over six courts packed full of fun.
We had many local players and several out of town friends mixing in matches together and that is exactly what our organization is
all about-
bringing together pickleball players from near and far.
Our tournament committee works so hard to make our shootouts run smoothly and it really is a team effort. To everyone who helped tape lines, assemble nets, assisted with registration, cleaned up....
THANK YOU!
The results are
IN! Please visit our
SENIOR SHOOTOUT RESULTS page to see how it all played out.
Some extra fun for today, we had one of a kind trophies designed by Brandon Borgia (son of EPPA President, Bob Borgia). In addition, raffle tickets were sold for artwork by Brandon (won by Paulette Hessinger) and a Gearbox Paddle (won by Donnie Hill)!
We are happy to give a portion of our proceeds to the
ANNA Shelter, a non-profit designed to rehome needy and neglected animals.
Wanting to play more, or did you have fear of missing out today, or maybe you didn't meet the age requirements for the Senior Shootout? Check out the
ROYAL Any Team Shootout, which will take place Sunday, December 18th at Westwood Racquet Club.
