New Year- More Pickleball

As we ring in the new year, I would first like to ask for positive thoughts and prayers for Ray and Janie Martin.  Ray and Janie are two of the most welcoming and hospitable people that I have ever met.  They are long time members of the EPPA and invited many players from the local community to play at "the barn" (also known as the HALFMOON Pickleball Club).  Janie has encountered some serious health issues and she and the entire family would really appreciate all of our support.  If you know Ray and Janie and want more information, please respond to this email.

Lots of pickleball for ALL levels are coming your way in 2023.  Whether you want to learn to play OR if you are looking to play more, we have your back.  Check out all of these amazing offerings.

Westwood Racquet Club, 2660 Zuck Rd.- Sign up via Court Reserve for all events

  • Beginner Open Play: Wednesdays 1:00-2:30 pm.  Limited to 12 participants. Cost: $5
  • NEW- this is a good one! Beginner Clinic/Open Play: Sundays in January 5:00-6:30 pm.  30 minute intro to pickleball if you've NEVER played or need a refresher on the rules.  If you have some knowledge of the game, you will spend 30 minutes doing drills with an instructor to enhance your game.  The rest of the time will be for mixing together and playing!  Cost: $15, 8 player minimum, 16 player max. 
  • Intermediate Clinics: Sundays, January 15 and January 29.  6:30-7:30 pm. Cost: $10 per session.  8 participant minimum, 16 max.  Up your game with skill and drill information and practice. 
  • NEW- Another exciting one! Intermediate AND Advanced Open Play:  Since beginners now have Wednesdays and Sundays, Fridays from 6-8 pm are for intermediate and advanced players.  6 spots for intermediate and 6 for advanced.  Skill levels will rotate within their own groupings to allow for the most competitive games.  Cost: $8

  • Learn to play! Beginners Lessons on Thursdays 12:30 pm.

Eastside YMCA, 2101 Nagle Road
