Pickler 6 Rules Changes
Shootout
For the last 27 years,
Erie DAWN has been supporting women and their children as they find their way to self-sufficiency. Erie Dawn reached out to the EPPA for input and advice on running a pickleball shootout as a fundraiser. You know us, we can't say no to pickleball! ALL PROCEEDS of this event (on Saturday, March 4 at Westwood Racquet Club) go to Erie Dawn- it is being organized and run by them, with a little guidance from EPPA.
There are two divisions- one for FUN and one for COMPETITION! The
fun division is for those who mostly play recreationally OR for those who aren't into the competitiveness of tournaments. This division is open to ANY team- two males, two females, mixed doubles. Find a partner who is not going to ban you from pickleball if you don't win and
SIGN UP.
Now for those of you who hit the courts and won't leave until you have a medal in hand, the
competitive division is the one for you. It is recommended that you are at least a 3.5 player to sign up for this bracket. Brackets will be designed based on the levels of those who register. Same format- ANY team. Find your favorite partner who will give it their ALL and
SIGN UP.
