Out of any pickleball production (non-PPA, APP, MLP) I’ve watched, and I have watched them all, this was the best. They kept the integrity of the sport, the announcers and refs were on point, and the play was really good! It was cool to see the players steadily get better each point, took a bit but they started nailing their drop shots and then the game changed!
A fun side note, Erie’s own EPPA member Matt Manasse was able to compete again Agassi and Roddick as part of the pre- Pickleball Slam hype. Spoiler Alert! Matt and teammate Roscoe Bellamy brought down the tennis legends in a 15-8 victory.
