Zuck and Asbury Parks are awaiting nets, which should be installed by the end of this week. However, the surface is ready to go! If you have a net that you would like to take, you can go play at either park.
Zuck Park, with 6 courts, is going to be the pickleball hub of Millcreek where open play and groups go to play. Asbury Park, with 2 courts, will be designated for clinics, lessons, etc. IF courts are open at Asbury, you certainly can use them! Just know that these courts will be reserved often for other training purposes.

A few notes about Zuck Park. The pavilion is often rented on weekends, so it will be out of commission. Weekday mornings (or any time it is vacant)- feel free to set up shop there in the shade. Benches are coming in the future, for now you can use the pavilion tables or BYOC (bring your own chair).
There are two lots- one right by the courts and one on the Zuck Rd. side with a short walk through the wooded trail. There is also a bathroom along that wooded trail. There is another trail by the courts if you do not want to walk down the grassy hill.
Zuck was painted one way originally and then totally reconfigured due to spacing issues. Ashley, with Millcreek Parks Dept., is VERY committed to making these courts the best they can be and had planned to use the previous tennis nets as a barrier between the north and south courts. When she saw how tight that spacing was, she had the courts moved to be more playable. That being said, there are sloping mounds where the center net posts were. I walked the courts yesterday and they are well out of the way of the playing area. However, be aware that these mounds are there, they will be marked with a different color paint to alert you.
Fencing will be installed to divide the north and south courts soon. Fencing between all courts may be an option down the road.
After nets are installed and signage is up, I will let you know! Have fun enjoying more beautiful courts in our area!
