A few quick reminders that have been brought to my attention before I get to the good stuff.
- Please make sure if you are using the squeegees and brooms that you re-lock them appropriately! The lock should be wrapped around the handle AND the base so they can't be slid out.
- The squeegee should be elevated off of the ground to prevent wear and tear. There is a little hook on the handle to attach it to the fence.
- The broom and squeegee will be placed at Zuck Park hopefully tomorrow! If not, by Wednesday morning. The code will be the same as the lock at Baldwin Park. If you want the code, please respond to this email and I will send it to you!
- Please make sure you are cleaning up any trash. The parks are looking great, but some water bottles have been left behind on the courts lately. If you could just do a quick scan of the area before leaving, that is a huge help!
Now for the fun:
The ribbon cutting at Baldwin Park has been rescheduled for this Thursday, August 17 at 2:00 pm. Weather forecast is looking good! You can get your play in during the morning hours and come back for the ribbon cutting OR play in the morning and in the afternoon OR play alllllll day. Let's pack the park. We made a big impression on Millcreek Township with our Taco Tuesday event at Zuck Park...we can show Erie our appreciation of beautiful Baldwin Park by being there on Thursday! Tell your pickleball friends (EPPA members or not), the neighbors, your great Aunt Betty- they ALL are welcome.
