Every event, clinic, and tournament that EPPA hosts lights a fire to our board to do bigger and better the next time. Tonight's EPPA Christmas party at Around the Post/Westwood was a happy and proud moment for all of us. We had 140 + members who play throughout the community come together to socialize, eat, play, and be merry. Twelve courts were packed throughout the night!
I personally am filled with gratitude for the volunteers who planned, set up, coordinated, tore down, cleaned up. WOW! You are so appreciated. To Westwood and Around the Post- your hospitality was another level.
Thank you to everyone who donated to Brande Dietrich-McLean, pickleball obsessed player and supporter of EPPA, who is raising funds in honor of her mother Linda Sue Rice who she lost in 2020 to pancreatic cancer. All money raised will go to Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. You can check out Brande's full story HERE. Between your monetary donations and raffle sales, EPPA was able to donate $300 to Brande's fundraising! If you missed out, please visit the link in Brande's story to donate.
Our MOST FESTIVE member was incognito as the Grinch! Luckily, we were able to figure out that Pam Swanson went all out to win the gift card. You did NOT "Stink, Stank, Stunk" it up on the courts- even in your costume.
I truly do not know how we will top this event, but I can promise you- we will try! We value our members and hope that you enjoyed your time with each other. The smiles on your faces brightened our holiday season.
