Yesterday was a great day for Erie Pickleball Player's Association! We were able to raise over $2,000 during Erie Gives Day. For a small non-profit, every dollar helps and we truly thank all who were able to donate. That money will go towards growing and supporting our youth programming!
Last night, the weather held off and we packed Zuck Park with EPPA members! About 165 players showed up to enjoy each other's company along with good food, great tunes, and of course- pickleball. An early mission of EPPA was to bring different "pockets" of players together and last night showcased that with players from all around the area mixing in together and having a blast!
Thank you to Nina Siggia and Steph Weunski for taking the lead in organizing. We had an amazing team of volunteers setting up, running registration, serving food, and cleaning up! Thank you for helping EPPA host the best events- we are beyond lucky to have you all.
Gracias to Julio and Mambo who jammed out for two hours. They were incredible! Live music on a beautiful night while surrounded by friends and pickleball...who can ask for a better summer evening?!
Also a big thank you to Sontheimer's Country Bakery who generously donated hundreds of cookies! They were so delicious that there was not even one cookie left over. Check out Sontheimers for your baked good needs- you won't be disappointed!
Lastly, Millcreek Township has donated Zuck Park for the last three years for our Taco Tuesday event. We are so grateful for their support as this park is the perfect setting for us!
Our EPPA community is something special. We have a wide expanse of players at all levels and lots of great courts in the area to play on! Thank you to all members who continue to support us year after year!
