We have some exciting updates to share coming out of our most recent board meeting. 

Around the Post (ATP), under the direction of Elena Arnold, has been a committed Community Partner to EPPA for over three years — offering our members discounts and donating to clinics and tournaments on multiple occasions. That ongoing support deserves acknowledgment, and we are truly grateful for everything they have brought, and continue to bring, to our community.

We are equally excited to announce a refreshed and renewed affiliation with Presque Isle Pickleball (PIP), under the leadership of director Patty Jones. Owners Mike and Helen Agresti have empowered Patty to serve as the primary point of contact and decision-maker for PIP's pickleball programming, and we couldn't be more enthusiastic about this new chapter ahead as they increase efforts to improve the club. We look forward to seeing what her energy and collaborative spirit brings!

As part of this renewed partnership, EPPA members will receive a yearly discount toward PIP's membership package. Please contact Patty for more details.

As a note, EPPA does not pay or receive money directly from our Community Partnerships but rather we use them as opportunities to do good and promote the sport of pickleball. 

EPPA will host a free community clinic at PIP to kick off things with our renewed Community Partner on Saturday, March 28th. The event kicks off at 3:00 PM and is open to all levels — come play, learn, and connect with the community. More details to follow in the next few days for registration. Historically spots have gone fast so keep an eye on that inbox!

DUPR is currently offering a paid rating reset service ($35/person) during this window. Look for a separate educational post from Andre on what DUPR is, how the reset works, and whether it might be right for you. 

The annual meeting will be at the Erie Yacht Club and on April 21st.
