Baldwin Park update

Hello to everyone and a special “welcome” to our new EPPA members who have joined in 2023. Please stop and introduce yourself to Bob Borgia ( President) and myself when you see us on the courts.
I’m sure it is rather obvious that the 6 new courts at Baldwin Park will not be completed this year. That’s the bad news. The GOOD news is the extended completion time gives us an opportunity to have our collective voice heard! The City of Erie has $5,000,000 available from the ARP funds that is designated for community improvement projects. City parks is one of the focal points which leads me to the opportunity before us to vote on what improvements we ( EPPA) would like to see implemented at Baldwin. PLEASE make every effort to complete the City’s survey that will set the direction for Baldwin moving forward. Go to www.erie.pa.us/park survey and voice your opinion. This is a one and only chance for us to get what we want at Baldwin!!! The money is available ( a rarity in Erie PA) so let’s make sure our voice is heard.
