Each player registers individually and will be paired up randomly with other players into teams playing round robin format matches. You will rotate partners every match.
Definition of Beginner/Novice Player
- Able to serve the ball in regularly
- Knows the two bounce rule and demonstrates it most times
- Knows where to stand on the court during serve, serve receive and general play
- Approaches the non-volley zone to hit volleys
- Knows fundamental rules and can keep score
- Skill levels: 3.0 and below. USA Pickleball ratings linked HERE.
EPPA tournament organizers will contact you if we feel this is not the appropriate shootout for you.
