Mission Empower wants YOU

Andre Francis posted about 2 months ago

Hello fellow pickleball aficionados!!

It brings me great pride to see how much this sport and community has grown EVEN since last we spoke. This growth has been noticed by organizations big and small and in this case, noble.

Mission Empower (powered by EPPA)

Mission Empower is a local nonprofit making an impact in our community by empowering families and children with disabilities. Thanks to the ripples our organization has made, they have reached out to us for some assistance in hosting their FIRST-EVER pickleball event/fundraiser.

Join the All-Levels Shootout!

The event will be held at the Edinboro YMCA on Saturday, April 6th. Play starts at 2:00 pm but as usual we ask that all players are there 30 minutes early as check-in will begin at 1:30 pm. We're proud to support Mission Empower by lending our expertise in tournament logistics and offering our user-friendly EPPA/Royal Pickleball tournament software for player registration.

Calling all players, from beginners to seasoned veterans!  Whether you're the next Ben Johns or Anna Leigh-Waters, or even if you occasionally get the rules crossed (we've all been there!), this event is for you. For this tournament we highly encourage players to register with loved ones who may not be as integrally involved with the pickleball community, this will help expand awareness for our sport, EPPA, and most of all Mission Empower.

Please note: This event is independently organized by Mission Empower, and the format or structure may differ slightly from official EPPA tournaments.

Remember, the only thing better than playing pickleball is playing pickleball for a great cause (and maybe grabbing a medal!)
