We’d like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who attended our Annual Meeting at the Erie Yacht Club on April 21. With nearly perfect attendance, the evening was filled with great conversation, thoughtful ideas, and plenty of positive momentum for the year ahead.
One exciting update shared at the meeting: the new pickleball courts at Pleasant Ridge Park are expected to begin construction soon. This is a big step forward for our local pickleball community, and we’re looking forward to seeing progress in Fairview!
Shootout Results
Last weekend's House of Hope Shootout in Lakewood, NY (relocated from Warren) was a tremendous success. Over $5,000 was raised and 75 pairs of gently used shoes were collected for those in need. EPPA was happy to support the event through online registration and organization. Click here to see the results- you will recognize many EPPA members sporting medals! HOH.JPG276 KB
Smile Cookie Week
The Tim Hortons Smile Cookie Campaign was a BIG hit! Several EPPA members enjoyed some sweet treats, and even better—all proceeds are going to Shriners Children's Hospital. The week is over but the money raised from the sale of the cookies will leave a lasting impact on our community! COTC cookies.JPG207 KB
Equipment Upgrades
EPPA recently purchased a new squeegee and push broom for Baldwin Park, with more on the way for Zuck Park to help keep our courts in great playing condition. In addition, indoor pickleballs were purchased for the Glenwood YMCA! We love helping to support local courts when we can.
No Mess Left Behind
As we continue to grow, just a quick reminder to everyone: please leave the parks cleaner than when you arrive. Take a moment before you leave to pick up your water bottles, trash, and personal items- small efforts make a big difference for everyone.
Thank you always for your continued support and enthusiasm.
