Registration Open- Memorial Shootout 2026

We hope you had a fun, relaxing, and safe Fourth of July holiday and were able to enjoy some time with family and friends- on and off the courts!

Thank you to everyone who has already registered for our Memorial tournament on July 25-26 at Baldwin Park. We’re excited to see another great turnout.

As registration continues, we wanted to share an important update regarding divisions.

To ensure a competitive and enjoyable experience for everyone, each division must have at least four (4) registered teams by Friday, July 10. If a division does not reach the minimum number of teams, we may need to cancel that division or combine/expand divisions where appropriate.

One division we're hoping to expand is Men's 4.0+, which is currently full and has a growing waitlist. Our goal is to split this into two separate divisions based on who is registered:

This will provide more balanced competition and allow more teams to participate.

We also want to remind everyone to register in the division that reflects the level at which YOU currently play. If you register with a partner who has a lower skill level, your team should still enter the division that matches the higher-rated player's level. If you are on the cusp of two ratings- this is a great opportunity to play up and meet new people in that skill range.

While we'd love to have many age/ skill brackets and base all divisions entirely on a universal rating system (like DUPR) to ensure validity, we're not quite there yet. For this tournament, divisions will continue to be based on self-rating, and we appreciate everyone's honesty in helping us create fair and competitive brackets.  We will reach out if you/your partner are not appropriate for a division.

One more note- you only get a discount in pricing if your EPPA membership is current!  Please renew (or join) to support pickleball in our area and to enjoy the price break for members.
