What an incredible first day of Urban University's weeklong Youth Pickleball Clinic!
This clinic is a collaboration between EPPA, many amazing mentors, and Around the Post- with Around the Post generously donating all court time this week to help introduce pickleball and grow the game for our local youth.
Thanks to funds raised during last year's Erie Gives Day, EPPA was also able to provide every participant with their own Diadem Blu Core paddle! While these paddles retail for around $250, our partnership with Royal Pickleball allowed us to purchase them at a deep discount, making this amazing opportunity possible for even more kids.
One highlight of the day- a participant's reaction when he realized the paddle was HIS to keep: "Can I give you a hug?"

Youth Division
Ages 12–17 (flexible age range) are welcome, and no partner is needed. We'll help match players so they can meet other young athletes who share a passion for pickleball while enjoying some friendly competition. All you need to sign up is an email address! Click here to join.
Seawolves Game on July 30
Erie Pickleball Players Association Night with the Seawolves! Thursday, July 30. Gates Open at 5:00 pm with first pitch at 6:05 pm. Current EPPA members only get a free ticket to the game! It's also Two Buck Thursday with $2 domestic drafts, Smith's hot dogs, Pepsi products, and popcorn. Come hang out with your pickleball friends OFF the court!
